Floodlighting & Electrical become Wales Rugby League's official partners

Wales Rugby League have announced an exclusive partnership with the South Wales-based leading floodlighting and electrical installation and maintenance organisation “Floodlighting and Electrical” to become both their Official Floodlighting Partner and front of shirt sponsor to the Wales Women’s international side.

Both organisations are keen to build a long-term relationship to underpin Rugby League in the community.

The five-figure sponsorship gives Floodlighting and Electrical unique access to the community, professional and international game in Wales, and their front of shirt sponsorship of the Wales Women’s team shirts will be showcased at the historic first international test match between England and Wales, televised live on Sky Sports from the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington on Friday 25th June.

The partnership follows significant growth for Floodlighting and Electrical across all areas of Wales over the last 18 months and endorses its culture of building strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key sports organisations. It also confirms the company’s approach to supporting diversity within all areas of sport, with its direct association with the women’s international team.

Gareth Roberts, Managing Director at Floodlighting and Electrical, comments:

“We are committed to providing optimum lighting solutions at international levels, right through to grass root clubs, all over the UK. We are passionate about all sporting teams having the opportunity to train and play in the best lighting conditions possible and of course, all year round. I am delighted to support Wales Rugby League and rugby league as a whole and I look forward to working with all venues, player’s and stakeholders across the game in the near future.”

Gareth Kear CEO Wales Rugby League comments:

“As an National Governing Body, we are keen to long term sustainable partnerships with organisations that have the same values of inclusion and equality as we do. Floodlighting and Electrical are the perfect partner to help Rugby League develop and grow over the next few years.”
